My boys started preschool this week, the weather is getting cooler, and it's getting dark by the time we finish dinner. It must be September!
Writing-wise, I'm still deep in the editing trenches, with a long way to go. But yesterday I hit the milestone of sending my final chapters to my critique group. This morning I had an excited e-mail from one of my faithful critiquers--she loved the ending! Yay!!! I have a lot of work left to do, but it's so motivating to know that the end of my story left at least one reader satisfied and happy :)
As for what's coming up next, I have a guest post scheduled for early October that I'll link to here when it's up. Otherwise, it's editing, editing, and more editing until this manuscript is polished and ready to submit!
